Methodist International Centre – MIC, (formally, Methodist International House – MIH) was founded by Miss Hilda Porter MBE in 1950 to provide Christian hospitality to International Students predominantly from Commonwealth countries. Today, MIC provides affordable accommodation, catering, Chaplaincy and pastoral care to International and Home students from over 20 countries, irrespective of faith or beliefs.
MIC is a social enterprise. The trading company, Methodist International Centre Ltd provides hotel accommodation and meeting facilities that make a significant contribution and enables student facilities to be provided in central London.
